DIEPSLOOT - PART-TIME VACANCIES FOR MATHS CLUBS FACILITATORS
OLICO is looking to appoint vibrant and dynamic individuals with good basic maths understanding to facilitate Maths Clubs in the Diepsloot community. The position is ideally suited for a part-time student or applicant looking for half-day work.
Expectations: The position is part-time and based in Diepsloot from Monday to Friday. Maths Clubs take place at different times throughout the week but facilitators will usually work on average of 4 hours a day between: 10am – 4:00pm. Facilitators will work +/- 20-25 hours per week.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare and conduct Maths Clubs lessons with Grade R-6 learners in Diepsloot
- Record and monitor attendance and assessment data of learners
- Communicate with key stakeholders (e.g. Parents, partners, schools) as required
- Participate in weekly Maths Clubs trainings and review meetings
- Assist with Family Fun Maths Days on 4 Saturday mornings in the year
DETAILS:
The position is a part-time position starting on 20 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.
The position is ideal for a part-time student or anyone interested in pursuing teaching as a career. Maths Clubs classes run throughout the school term. The successful candidate will need to be available for an average of 4-5 hours a day from Mondays to Fridays.
Preference will be given to candidates from the Diepsloot community.
REMUNERATION: R2500-R3500 per month (depending on hours/experience)
